International Opportunities for Talent and Athletes

Talent creates opportunities — but access to the right people, organizations and markets often determines how far that talent can develop.

EU Job Agency supports athletes, professionals and individuals with distinctive skills who are looking for international opportunities, professional connections, representation or career development.

We also work with clubs, organizations, agencies, sponsors and other partners interested in discovering and working with international talent.

Each profile is reviewed individually.

For Athletes

International sport is highly competitive.

Athletes may require more than strong performance. Career development can also depend on visibility, professional presentation, access to clubs and organizations, reliable representation and the right international connections.

Depending on the individual case, we may assist with:

Club and Organization Introductions

Where appropriate opportunities exist, we may help introduce athletes to:

  • clubs;

  • academies;

  • sports organizations;

  • professional contacts;

  • agents;

  • scouts;

  • other relevant partners.

An introduction does not guarantee selection, a contract or professional engagement.

Career Development

We may help athletes evaluate potential career opportunities, international markets and professional pathways.

This may include discussion of:

  • suitable countries or leagues;

  • development opportunities;

  • professional positioning;

  • representation;

  • possible trials;

  • career planning;

  • international mobility.

Professional Presentation

A strong professional profile can be important when approaching clubs, organizations and potential partners. Depending on the sport and career stage, relevant materials may include:

  • sports CV;

  • performance history;

  • competition results;

  • statistics;

  • video material;

  • references;

  • certifications;

  • professional photographs;

  • medical or fitness documentation where appropriate.

We can help determine which materials may be useful for presenting an athlete professionally.

Trials and Selection Opportunities

Where relevant opportunities are available, we may assist with communication and coordination related to trials, assessments or selection processes.

The final decision always belongs to the club, organization or other selecting party.

For Clubs and Sports Organizations

Depending on the requirements, we may assist with:

  • documentation;

  • international mobility support.

The final evaluation and selection of any athlete remains the responsibility of the club or organization.

Where appropriate, we may help connect suitable individuals with:

  • sponsors;

  • brands;

  • investors;

  • event organizers;

  • media partners;

  • commercial partners.

Any sponsorship or commercial cooperation is subject to separate negotiation between the parties.

How the Process Works

1. Submit Your Profile

Provide information about your background, achievements, objectives and the type of opportunity you are seeking.

For athletes, this should normally include:

  • sport and position or discipline;

  • age;

  • nationality;

  • current club or organization;

  • professional experience;

  • competition history;

  • achievements;

  • statistics where relevant;

  • video material;

  • preferred countries or markets.

2. Initial Review

We assess the profile, available documentation and objectives. Not every application can be represented or introduced to partners.

3. Opportunity Assessment

Where the profile may be suitable, we identify potential markets, organizations or professional contacts that may be relevant.

4. Professional Introduction

Where a suitable opportunity is identified and both parties agree, we may facilitate an introduction.

5. Evaluation and Negotiation

The interested club, organization, sponsor or professional partner evaluates the candidate. Any commercial, employment or representation terms are negotiated separately.

6. Contract and Mobility

If an agreement is reached, appropriate contracts, documentation and, where required, immigration or relocation procedures may follow.

What We Need From Applicants

A complete and accurate profile improves the chances of meaningful assessment.

Applicants should provide:

  • full name;

  • nationality;

  • current country of residence;

  • date of birth where relevant;

  • contact information;

  • professional CV or sports profile;

  • relevant achievements;

  • references where available;

  • photographs;
